Discovering that a favorite candy is being discontinued is akin to loosing someone close to you. You've shared lots of very special memories that will always be cherished. It has comforted you in times of need, or helped celebrate a special occasion. At CandyFavorites.com, we feel your pain and would like to assist in your candy therapy.
It is never easy to let go, but we hope that by sharing your memories on our blog, you can memorialize that sweet treat with the respect it deserves. Many candy manufacturers read our site, so there is a possibility of resurrecting your lost candy if enough comments are generated .
Since our company was founded in 1927, many of your favorite sweets have come and gone through our doors and we have provided a list of them here. Please let us know if we have missed any and share your special memories with friends who understand.

Pond Scum was one of our favorite products and one of the coolest novelties that we sold. It was a marvelous combination of whimsy and cuteness and sold really well. Unfortunately, it is no longer available as it was discontinued. As to why, we are not sure…
Gosh, that’s a candy from the past. I do remember them and, sadly, they haven’t been around for many years. Like so many really cool products from the past, these most likely are gone for good.
Mint Juleps and Banana Splits were both made by NECCO who, sadly, went out of business. Almost everyone is sold out of these products and any that would remain would be expired. Hopefully, someone will purchase the rights to these iconic treats. In the interim, why not share your memories of a favorite NECCO product. Sadly, Chiclets were permanently discontinued in 2018 and no mention has been made as to whether they will ever return. They were classic chewing gum and are missed!
