Not great quality for the money
The best value is always purchasing in bulk. The flat bags are more geared towards a retail store or for use in a treat bag, making them not a btter value than a larger quantity. These black licorice laces are so yummy, they take me back to the days when I would get a dime from my Mom for penny candy and scurry up a backyard tree with my candy and my book and hide from the world. It was heaven.

I was crazy about Valomilks when I was a kid in the late 1950s. I hadn't seen it for years, except when Cracker Barrel sold it occasionally years ago. It's like eating marshmallow cream out of a jar, but surrounded by delicious milk chocolate. Heavenly and highly addictive!

I would rank it about 2/10 because it is about 90% raisins. Definitely not bridge mix.

We have searched high and low to find a good Chocolate Bridge Mix and while this is different than what was once avaialble -especially the Bridge Mix made by Brachs - it is probably the best tat still remains. Seems it had been on the shelf for years not fresh
We are sorry the licorice didn't meet our expectations or taste as you recall. There was a product called Delfa Rolls, long discontinued, that was softer, but these are harder in consistency. The product is factory fresh and well within the manufacturer's expiration date, which was checked prior to your package being shipped. Hope this explains why it might tatse idfferent than you recall and we cetainly appreciate your understanding.
Licorice all sorts, no licorice taste, must be old stock. Very unhappy with this product.

Here's the irony - they are not old stock - we would never sell a product that is less than 100 percent factory fresh - but they are from a different vendor and the consistency is different from the originals that we got from Europe. Some like them and others don't but please know that we are aware of the issues with the taste difference and will address this accordingly.
