Located in Pittsburgh since 1927, we have seen the birth of many unique candies such as Clark Bars and Mallo Cups, but it would be an oversight to overlook one of America’s favorite potato chip brands which was founded by the Snyder Family in the 1920s around the time our wholesale company was founded! The company was located in Hanover, Pennsylvania which is why many of the products were called Snyder of Hanover before the opening of a factory in nearby Berlin, Pennsylvania that exclusively manufactured their famous chips.
Over the years, Snyders has expanded their offerings to include mouth-watering Cheese Puffs, Puff n Corn, Popcorn and Pretzels, to name but a few, but as the product is exclusively found in Western Pennsylvania, it took on a “cult status” among snack food lovers throughout the country. With the advent of the internet, distribution grew, and people throughout the country were finally able to taste a truly unique product. CandyFavorites.com was among the first to sell this brand online and were the first to export it to the United Kingdom!
