Candy is dandy, but coffee is the perfect way to start the work day and keep it going.
Partnering with one of the nation’s premier roasters, Coffee Tree Roasters, based in Pittsburgh, PA, CandyFavorites.com will offer a full selection of small batch, hand-roasted coffees growers around the world.
The Coffee Tree Roasters was founded in 1993, by father and son team Bill Swoope Jr. and Bill Swoope Sr. Affectionately known as “The Bill’s,” their dream was to bring the finest coffees the world has to offer, to their hometown of Squirrel Hill, PA. On a shoestring budget, and after many hours of manual labor, “The Bill’s” vision became a reality. The first Coffee Tree Roasters shop was opened on July 5th, 1993, with Bill and Bill staffing the store by day, and roasting the beans at night. The Coffee Tree flourished, and quickly became the neighborhood meeting place.
Through their extensive travels in the years to follow, touching on every continent to meet local coffee farmers, Bill and Bill forged relationships spanning the globe, that have allowed them to source the finest coffees the world has to offer.
Twenty-five years and 7 stores later, Coffee Tree Roasters has never strayed from our vision and remains Pittsburgh’s premier coffee roaster and purveyor. In fact, they have once again been honored with the coveted award of Pittsburgh’s Best Local Coffee Shop for 2019, by Pittsburgh Magazine.

Many of the coffees are sourced from artisan growers from places such as Africa, Columbia, Costa Rica, and Jamaica and are hand roasted at Coffee Tree Roasters facility in West Mifflin, PA. We will be offering over 30 varieties that run the gamut from everyday French Roast to rarities such as Jamaica Blue Mountain Clydesdale Estate.
