The last stop on our retro candy list is 1970’s candy, which includes many fun and fruity, and in one case explosive, old-fashioned candy celebrities. Pop Rocks were a bang when they were first offered in 1975, and they still are (read about Pop Rocks and Children’s Culture and Candy Consumption).
You might think of Reese’s Pieces as a product of the 1980’s, since the release of E.T. in 1982 launched the candy to stardom. They were actually first marketed in the United States in 1978, making them peers with other celebrities of the 1970’s, like Bubble Yum, Grapeheads, Freshen Up Gum, Charms, and Rolo.

Great mild mint taste. Melts in your mouth. Nice size too.
I saw I could order Snaps after a lifetime drought. I order 6#,s, and ate em all. I saw a problem forming so I ordered 9# of Snaps in 12 oz packs. Still . I wanted sealed Snaps for the long haul. So I ordered another 6# bag … and ate it. The pandemic hits and I salivate over my sealed 12 oz bags. Then I ate em. A year later I found Snpas online. The were not cheap. I bought 4 12 oz bags. Opened the last one yesterday.
I was very grateful for the rush order !
Also the person who helped was just fantastic took great care of my order!
My Sunday school kids will enjoy making their turkey cupcakes with the candy corn.

Couldn’t find these gems in any local store to me so I ordered 5 pounds they were fresh, taste was perfect and they arrived a day early!!!
With decent weather on Halloween, wanted to make sure I had plenty of candy to give away. Delivery was on time and kept me out of the stores buying old candy that had been on the shelves since Labor Day.

[message]I won’t order these again. They are not as pictured and have an odd taste in my opinion. Delivery was prompt as always.
I have ordered these several times and always get them fresh and delivered in good shape.
Half of the hearts have nothing on them or the word only partially printed. On the ones that actually have a word, the print is so light, you have to really stare to see it. “So lame” should be on the hearts
Yummy. I'll keep info. so I can order again next year.
