My sweet Halloween story is about a sweet elderly lady who used to make caramel popcorn balls as treats & give them to all the neighborhood Trick or Treaters…this was during the 1960’s when you didn’t have to worry about unwrapped items. Her name was Mrs. Clifford & she must have been in her 80’s or 90’s at the time, and I still think about her every Halloween & how special her treats were…to take the time & make caramel popcorn balls & wrap each one was a very kind thing to do for her neighborhood children.
