The taste is right but you can't read the words that well. It came in a large unsealed plastic bag with a twist tie. I didn't expect that. It was like they had a big bulk bin. Scooped 3 pounds into a thick plastic bag and then twister tie. Seems a little weird to get something unsealed from an online store.
Thank you for sharing your comment and keen observation. We do repackage almost all of our bulk candy and it is done in the most sanitary conditions, in a warehouse with proper certification. We have looked into other packaging options but, as we literally fill orders ' on demand' to ensure freshness, we found this to be the most effective. No Where Near The Original
If you are looking for the classic flavors of the classic conversation hearts you WILL NOT FIND THEM IN THIS CANDY. The consistency of the candy was varied. Some hearts were soft, which I love, and some were hard enough to crack a tooth. I was most disappointed in the flavors. None of them had any recognizable flavor and some just tasted plain weird. The white ones were no where near the original white flavors. If I could have sent them back I would have. I bought these large conversation hearts because of some of the reviews and I hope my review will help save someone else the mistake of ordering them.
We are sorry the conversation hearts didn't meet your expectations. Unfortunately, over the years, many products have had formula changes - or, worse, have been discontinued - and it is almost impossible to replicate a product to taste as you might recall. The classic conversation heart was originally made by Necco who went bankrupt in 2018. Conversation Heart are also made by other manufacturers such as Brachs and even their 'classic' heart has changed in flavor and consistency. We have tried hard to find suitable alternatives but, alas, they may taste different than the original or what you might recall. We address this in our customer service section too. Got on time, Taste was like I remember as a kid. Just wish the righting was bigger to match the size of the hearts, that's the reason for the 4 stars. otherwise just fine

The picture showed the white lettering typical of Primrose, and It came up on the Primrose filter. But, it has blue lettering, and came from Argentina(If my memory is correct). That said, I do like them anyway, and the quality seems as good as what I get from Primrose. I will probably buy them again if available. The problem is, how would one know what they are getting?
Your web site completely screwed up my order. As far as I know the item was not gift wrapped. Thought I was ordering large size item but you sent small size item. Paid extra for a note and no note included. Recipient called me after Christmas and asked if I was the one who sent the candy since there was no note and no indication of who sent it.
