My purchase was for Valomilks, which are very prone to damage in both warm temperatures and/or rough handling. My order was delivered and the candy was perfect! Very pleased with how things were packaged and protected.

The candy at Candyfavorites.com is outstanding but the weather patterns can be confusing and harsh from region to region in the United States, let alone other areas of the world. My thought is to protect your purchase with Hot Weather and Fragile Protection ...it works for us in NC.

The milk balls got here in perfect shape
We are so glad that you think that the best malted milk balls are these ones! Additionally, the hot weather protection that you purchased can be necessary for the hotter months especially with chocolates so that they don't melt. We appreciate your feedback on it!

I live in the Phoenix, AZ area. I generally do not order any chocolate after May 15, due to hot weather. I decided to order the Cadbury eggs with the hot weather packaging. Even with 2 day air shipping, the packs had melted. Everything was warm to the touch, but did not appear to be damaged, other than product on the extreme bottom.
I received medication at the same time. It came in a foam container with more ice packs. The foam and next day air the medication was kept cool. Fortunately, insurance paid for this shipment as I would not use next day air for candy.
During the summer usually all that I purchase is baking chocolate as the temperature does not melt it or damage it.
