This famed combination of molasses-flavored candy-coated popcorn and peanuts got its name thanks to one patron who exclaimed, "That's a crackerjack!" after tasting the candy concontion. Back in the day, that was slang for, "excellent quality." Clearly, this talented taster knew what he was talking about, since this excellent quality candy has been a crowd pleaser ever since.
