Double Bubble Bubble Gum has an important place in the history of candy as it was invented by Walter Deimer in 1928, but it was not until 1930 that comic strips featuring Dub and Bub (affectionately known as the Dubble Bubble Twins) were added to each individual piece.
In 1937, Dubble Bubble was made available to the public and this gum became so popular that during the Second World War, it was decided that a piece of gum would be included in the rations for US soldiers serving in the Second World War.
In 1950, Dub and Dub decided to go into "permanent retirement" and were replaced by the now famous comic character named Pud.
McKeesport Candy Co., has been offering this product since the 1930's and was one of the first candy wholesalers to do so!

I really enjoyed this bubble gum, but I was doing some research and came across the fact that it is made out of resin and wax. Do you really want to be chewing the same material in candles and jewelry? I didn't think so.
This was a fun gift for Christmas for everyone!
Same good gum that I remember growing up.
I remember this bubble gum from when I was a kid back in the sixties. I loved the little cartoon inside and the taste of the powdery, partialy split chunk of BG inside!
My favorite bubble gum in the world. Nothing blows better bubbles!

[message]The candy at Candyfavorites.com is outstanding but the weather patterns can be confusing and harsh from region to region in the United States, let alone other areas of the world. My thought is to protect your purchase with Hot Weather and Fragile Protection ...it works for us in NC.
Trick-o-treaters love cotton candy!
We are very pleased with our purchase of Brach's Indian Corn. It is only available during this time of the year & it disappears quickly off the shelves in stores. That's why I order this from CandyFavorites.com. Brach's Indian corn is available even when the stores run out, but don't wait too long to place your order! The 3 pound bag arrived in a box packaged to keep it cold & fresh, so there was no melting of the candy due to warmer temperatures. We like to mix our Indian Corn with dry roasted peanuts, it tastes a lot like Baby Ruths!
