Donna G. From my first taste, something seemed off. There was a funny taste, almost chemical, and it actually bothered my mouth. I bought a lot of these (12 lbs. to get me through to next February!) and I'm a huge fan of Brach's hearts. But these are different from any that I've had before. I think Brach's has been changing the recipe in recent years, and I thought I had adjusted to it. But these are just OFF. Not sure what to do with them. It would be expensive to mail them back!
