I am sad to report how disappointed I was when I tried to bite into what I thought was my favorite Holiday candy. There is really no chocolate in there- only a thin dark line in the center so thin you can’t even taste what it is. The outer shell is so thick you can’t even bite through them. I spoke to the owner who agreed that they are different this year and not very good. He said I could mail them back at my own cost and he would refund my money but I don’t have the time to deal with that or I wouldn’t have bought them on- line to begin with! Plus I wouldn’t really be getting what I paid back after I pay for shipping. Poor customer service but even worse then that is fooling people with the description of the product.
As discussed in our conversations, we are not the manufacturer and rely on what is provided to us by them. The product you received is exactly the product requested, but it may have changed over the years, and, as said, I do agree that there was more filling in year's past. Unfortunately, all we can do is ensure that the product is fresh and in perfect condition when it leaves our warehouse. Didn’t live up to my memory
I was thrilled to come across this company that offered the chocolate filled straws that I enjoyed at my grandmothers house every Christmas. I received my order today, opened up one of the bags and tried maybe 10 to give them a fair taste test only to be disappointed that the chocolate filling inside was practically nonexistent and some had no filling at all. Yes, it’s been a long time since I have had this candy but I’m sure I am not remembering it incorrectly. I really am disappointed. I really thought I had found the “mother lode” and I purchased 6 bags.

Taste is very good...but shell
Taste is very good...but shell is too thick..not enough chocolate. ...shell should dissolve in your mouth, leaving chocolate. AGAIN, FLAVOR OF SHELL IS VERY GOOD.

I Snaps by the POUND!!!
I saw I could order Snaps after a lifetime drought. I order 6#,s, and ate em all. I saw a problem forming so I ordered 9# of Snaps in 12 oz packs. Still . I wanted sealed Snaps for the long haul. So I ordered another 6# bag … and ate it. The pandemic hits and I salivate over my sealed 12 oz bags. Then I ate em. A year later I found Snpas online. The were not cheap. I bought 4 12 oz bags. Opened the last one yesterday.
