Everybody knows and loves M&M's®, but few know how they came to be.
During the Spanish Civil War, Forrest Mars Sr. saw soldiers eating chocolate pellets surrounded by a hard shell that was designed to prevent them from melting. Mars took this clever idea and patented his own version in 1941 and, in the process, created one of the best-selling candies in history.
During World War II, M&Ms were sold exclusively to the military. In 1954, the slogan that Elizabeth Granberry Hill McKean wrote was trademarked, harkening to the candy's original purpose: “The milk chocolate that melts in your mouth, not in your hand.”

Everything Wonderful...Fresh always, Deliver Quick. The only think was the order was large & in one bag would have liked in two bags. Recommend to everyone...Thank you Always
The picture showed the white lettering typical of Primrose, and It came up on the Primrose filter. But, it has blue lettering, and came from Argentina(If my memory is correct). That said, I do like them anyway, and the quality seems as good as what I get from Primrose. I will probably buy them again if available. The problem is, how would one know what they are getting?
Your web site completely screwed up my order. As far as I know the item was not gift wrapped. Thought I was ordering large size item but you sent small size item. Paid extra for a note and no note included. Recipient called me after Christmas and asked if I was the one who sent the candy since there was no note and no indication of who sent it.
