Spangler versus brachs
Spangler brand is nothing like brachs chicks and rabbits. They taste awful.. brachs chicks and rabbits are my favorite my whole life ever since I can remember and I will be 70 in April... all my favorite foods have been disappearing over the years.. really bums me out..please bring them back
Sadly, almost everything that Brach's made has disappeared! Having been in this business for over 30 years, I have never seen classics disappear as they are doing now! Spanger may not be Brachs but at least they are offering a product from our childhoods, however different they may be.

Not Happy
I've bought these before at a store and they were soft. I received mine and they were not soft at all. They seemed to be old

There use to be two varieties of these candies and one was called Brach's Chicks n' Rabbits which was discontinued. These were slightly softer but they haven't been offered for years. The candy you received is a marshmallow based candy but harder in consistency. This is not a sign of defect or staleness but rather how the product is made. We can't change how a product tastes but we can assure you that what you received is factory fresh and in perfect condition. I hope this offers some clarification and please know we are grateful for your feedback as well as having you as a customer.

Spangler rabbits and chicks
These things are vile tasting! I was used to another brand, but took a chance. Yuck. Heavy chemical taste.

Did not like the taste of the candy. They did not have a watermelon taste at all. Also. they were sugar-free. I might have chose the wrong candy when I ordered by mistake.

I Snaps by the POUND!!!
I saw I could order Snaps after a lifetime drought. I order 6#,s, and ate em all. I saw a problem forming so I ordered 9# of Snaps in 12 oz packs. Still . I wanted sealed Snaps for the long haul. So I ordered another 6# bag … and ate it. The pandemic hits and I salivate over my sealed 12 oz bags. Then I ate em. A year later I found Snpas online. The were not cheap. I bought 4 12 oz bags. Opened the last one yesterday.
