Malted Milk Balls are a lightweight, crunchy chocolate treat with a sweet history. They were created in 1873 when a pharmacist named James Horlick was trying to develop a nutritional supplement for infants.
Fortunately for candy lovers, his experiment went beyond his original vision and caught on with the general population. Little did he know at the time that he would end up being known as the father of one of the best-tasting chocolate candies of all time!

These malt balls do not taste like Brachs malt balls from the past. The chocolate is different and does not taste good.
Thank you for sharing your review! While the product is a malt ball, it is not made by Brachs nor advertised as such. In our opinion, it is as closer as you will get to the original but, las, it is not the classic Brach's Malts.

Not for me.
I couldn't wait to get these because I have always loved malted milk balls, but I have noticed that my tastes have changed over the years and chocolate does not taste the same to me anymore. I gave some to the kids I watch and they loved them and one of the parents said she'd take what I had left because she couldn't rave enough about them. So I guess I won't be eating or ordering anymore. Atleast they won't go to waste. The one's I'm giving them to are still young so their tastebuds are still intact. One way to lose weight I guess.
We are sorry that the malt balls weren't to your liking. As we get older, taste buds and memories change especially with old time candies. The good news is that the younger crowd still likes them which is promising if only for the future of the candy as so many candies have been discontinued in the past few years! Thank you for sharing your experience and please do not hesitate to reach out if we can be of service!

I know these aren’t Brach’s
I know these aren’t Brach’s malt balls, but dang close. Still tasty
We are so glad that you enjoyed our classic Milk Chocolate Malted Milk Balls. They are so delicious and close to Brach's version of malt balls as well and we are so glad that you enjoyed them too! Thank you for choosing CandyFavorites.com!

Not as good this time
My 2 previous orders were so awesome but you must have changed vendors. The ones I received yesterday, well the chocolate tasted gritty not smooth like the previous ones, they were way smaller as well and the malt inside wasn’t as rich. Please go back to your other vendor. The order came quickly and not one time with all my previous orders have I ever been unhappy. You are a great web site so please let me know if you go back to your other vendor and I will double my order!!!
Everything Wonderful...Fresh always, Deliver Quick. The only think was the order was large & in one bag would have liked in two bags. Recommend to everyone...Thank you Always
These candies are not the same as the ones that I ordered last time: the wrapper does not have sugar free printed on them, look totally different, same kind of box is about all. Candy not in sugar free wrappers tend to melt at any temp., anyplace, become extremely "STICKY", so when I pay $55,50 for 5#s I expect to get the same kind as before. I am so disappointed, sorry
Definitely not red hots. Couldn’t taste any cinnamon. The candy was hard and sweet
Sadly, like so many beloved and classic candies, Red hots were discontinued many moons ago. The Cinnamon Imperials are the closest to them but, alas, they are not the classic candy. Thanks for your understanding!
